January 17th Designing Your Life After Harvard (10AM-3PM, @ OCS)

The same design thinking approach used to develop cutting edge technology, products, and spaces can be used to design and build your career. Join us for this day-long workshop created to help you navigate your next career steps. Adapted from the popular Stanford course and book entitled “Designing Your Life,” this hands-on session will give you the tools to make decisions, learn more about your career options, and confidently leverage the Harvard network while prototyping a few different plans for your future. January 29th Leveraging Your PhD: Why Employers Value Your Skills (5PM-7:30 PM, GSAS Student Center, Common Room)

Join us for this special opportunity to hear about the career transition experiences of GSAS alumni working in a variety of jobs outside academe. Alumni will discuss their own career decision making, how they adapted to jobs outside academia, and how the skills and knowledge they developed during their graduate programs influenced their success.
