 

#  Kane Sjoberg ’25 and Hannah Burrows ’26 win Goldberg Prize

The Astronomy Department is pleased to award the 2025 Goldberg Prizes, honoring the best senior and junior Astronomy theses, to Kane Sjoberg ’25 and Hannah Burrows ’26.

Senior Kane Sjoberg was honored for the thesis “PANDORA: New avenues in sub-percent photometric precision for ground-based astronomy.” Advisor: Chris Stubbs

Junior Hannah Burrows ’26 (not shown) was honored for the thesis “Characterizing the molecular complexity of planet-hosting disk around HD 169142.” Advisor: Alice Booth

The awards were presented as part of the Astronomy Department's year-end celebration on May 14, 2025.
