Congratulations to Astronomy Assistant Professor Ashley Villar for winning two RSCA Awards:

Bridge Award: Support for “Luminous Supernovae in the Rubin Era” research. The [Bridge](https://rescorp.org/2025/09/rcsa-bridge-award-flexible-support-for-early-career-cottrell-scholars/) Award is for universities disrupted by federal policy changes.

Scialog Award: Support for “Discovering the first dwarf binary AGN using Early Rubin LSST data” research. The [Scialog](https://rescorp.org/scialog/early-science-with-the-lsst/) award is for early career researchers.
