#  Bekki Dawson (Phd 2013 Harvard) gives Bok Prize Lecture

 Rebekah Dawson received her PhD from Harvard in 2013 and is now Assistant Professor at Penn State, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics. She delivered this year's Bok Prize Lecture, named after  Bart Bok and Priscilla Fairfield Bok, both astronomers. Bekki, a student of Ruth Murray Clay, is pictured with  Kenzie Bok, their great grand daughter . The Bok prize was a gift of an anonymous donor in honor of the Boks and is awarded by the faculty each year to a recent graduate of the department.
