DESCRIPTION:<p> </p><p>On <strong>Thursday, February 2<sup>nd</sup>, </strong>Dr. Michael Dee will speak on <strong>“Solar Storms, Tree Rings and Astrochronology: New Radiocarbon Research from Oxford”</strong> from <span data-term="goog_1739321213" tabindex="0">5:30 pm – 7:00 pm</span> in CGIS South Room S250, 1730 Cambridge Street, Cambridge.  Dr. Dee is currently at the Centre for Isotope Research, University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and recently completed a Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship at the University of Oxford / Radiocarbon Accelerator Unit.  The workshop will be chaired by Noreen Tuross, Landon T. Clay Professor of Scientific Archaeology, Department of Human Evolutionary Biology, Harvard University, with comments by Douglas J.
