Hossein Sadeghpour

Hossein Sadeghpour is the director of the Institute for Theoretical Atomic Molecular and Optical Physics (ITAMP) at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory and the Harvard College Observatory. ITAMP (itamp.harvard.edu) is funded by the NSF. He is also a senior scientist at SAO. His main areas of research are in theoretical investigations of atomic recombination in the early Universe, formation of large carbon molecules in the interstellar space, cold and ultracold atomic and molecular collisions, Rydberg physics and ion traps.
